The Ark hadn't been going on as many voyages as of late, for reasons that were not entirely clear to Saiden. Given that he and Jack didn't really speak beyond passing interactions, the cook didn't know the reasons. However, the eruption had just made everything worse.
Given that there was little for him to do when the whole crew was in port, he'd decided to cash in on some of his recent goodwill and open up a small place to sell seafood. It wasn't going to be anything fancy, just a little shack with a grill and an oven, along with some tables and chairs.
There was a small room in the back he was planning to use for his pantry. The outside of the building had an old paint job that was cracked and peeling, and had faded to an indeterminate color. All of it could be securely locked up when he wasn't in town.
After discretely letting a few people know, word had spread more rapidly than he'd intended. Still, he wasn't going to turn help away. He stood just inside, whistling a cheerful tune, hands in his pockets. Next to him were all the supplies he needed to get this place set up. Although it was unfortunate he'd traded in a bunch of favors for all this, he been saving up for a while.
This is a PQ to help Saiden set up a small restaurant. There are currently two open spots, though I can open up more upon request.
