What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.
She is familiar with trading favors to get something started. She'd cashed in far more than her fair share, and owed a substantial amount of free drinks and booze to get the Kraai going. They were almost done, and perhaps they would already be done if she didn't keep sneaking away to enjoy Torchline. She timed her trips well though, making sure things were happening in the background as she left and would be ready for her upon return. They were down to the details; glasses and dishes and kitchenware, all things that needed to be made and sent to her.
So for now, with nothing else to do on her own place, she comes to help Saiden. Word spreads shockingly easily, and when she'd heard he needed help, she figured she might as well come lend a hand. Maybe because she liked Saiden and wanted to be a decent friend. Maybe because she liked his fish. Maybe both. Either way, she arrives in a t-shirt and yes, still wearing pants and boots. Some habits die hard, and she doesn't like skirts all that much. Particularly not for working.
