“I made sure through Haai.” He rumbles to Nate, offering a small half smile at the wink that’s granted – certainly far more relaxed and relieved at the sight of the Ascended. And then, then as he moves to give her the food, he watches Nate’s interaction with her and the nonsense that leaves her lips. He remains leaning against the counter, arms crossed, rubbing subconsciously at his arm while he focuses on the interaction. Haai finally settles, laying at Sunjata’s feet while Nate moves to glance over at her. A puff of smoke is granted in Nate’s direction at that.
But evidently Nate’s onto something, because it’s possibly a something that might have gotten lost with the rest of everything. “She lost her shoes and her bag.” He offers a bit unhelpfully, finally moving again to open the windows to let in a bit more of the cool night air, glancing at the stars before turning back to watch what happens.
