While her shift didn’t have the effect she intended it to have, and it feels like there’s some heavy consideration on the raven’s part, Lily is still glad she did. No kind of one-trick pony, the woman is perhaps overly-eager to appear self-sufficient (despite this particular circumstances) despite her appearance. This is a good lesson in predator vs. prey for the entertainer; some creatures can’t beguile and some can’t top from the bottom. This form, for all its other advantages, is likely to be one of them.

What’s your name, birdman? She inquires with a little jest. Otherwise she’s just going to keep calling him birdman, even on the off-chance that they meet again.
