Sam had a very bad feeling indeed about whatever was happening here. Unknown spirits could well be wicked, not necessarily bound to loyalty for the Ascended or Accepted - it could mean the both of them harm. Amalia continued to answer it's questions (admittedly vaguely, but still answers) and he leaned over to whisper in her ear.
"Are you sure it's wise to talk to it? I think we should just leave." He said to her, looking back behind them to the cave path.
