Despite the best efforts of Jigano and Remi, parts of Haulani hadn't been spared from Apopo's wrath. Seeing as Saiden had already helped with the evacuation and been assisting with clearing the air, he figured he'd help with the rebuild as well. So he'd wrangled Jack and Eloise into coming with him to the damaged area. How? Pathetic begging, probably.
The cook had a small pool of water he'd borrowed from the ocean rolling beside him on the off chance he needed to use his water magic. Mostly, he was ignoring the other two, not trusting himself and his reaction to their interactions, and trusting them to get the job done on their own. Of course, he couldn't help the unhappiness roiling in his chest at the thought of them being together.
That wouldn't stop him from doing his job to the best of his abilities though. Coming to a stop, he surveyed the area in front of them. "How do you want to do this, Captain?" His tone was polite; whatever issues the two men might have, Jack was still the Hali's captain.
