He stays within the coral building, and Sunjata hops a bit closer – a navy wing extended and brushing along the sand as he gathers his balance to better investigate this man when he speaks. “Oh?” He replies in that very same croak, though there’s a bright amount of amusement that lingers within him. He wonders if he’ll be able to play at it long enough to get the man to think he really is a bird, and how long he can get away with it.
The next question strikes a memory in his mind – that polly wants a cracker comment. He remembers Nate mentioning it in the Fingers when he’d arrived and dug his talons into the Ascended’s shoulder. So he hops nearer, ducking under it and lowering himself along the sand as if he’s being quite inquisitive. “Cracker.” He replies back, cocking his head curiously, still trying to pretend and hoping he’s doing okay.
It’s at least quite a bit amusing.
