To hunker down had to mean something other than just staying indoors that long week, he thinks. Still, his mind drifts back to the last LongNight, with words written in blood and him, Lusea, and Loren setting the Rathskeller ablaze to get the invisible monsters out. He swallows hard with it, focusing instead on what answer he might receive, hoping it's infinitely better.
