Saiden had been relegated to mule duty. Grumbling under his breath the whole time, he rowed the boat with practiced strokes. He'd finally conceded to the weather by putting on a shirt and boots, though otherwise his appearance and attire were entirely unchanged.
Heading for the dock that he'd been told to make the exchange at, he saw a figure waiting there. At least the contact was punctual. Pulling up alongside the wooden planks, he tied off the boat. "You Selene?" Scrubbing the exhaustion from his eyes, he placed his hand on the sword at his hip on the off chance this went sideways. For now, he just stared up at the unfamiliar woman expectantly.
