As she waved him over, the Alchemist plodded out of the water and onto the wet sand to travel faster. Nearing, he offered her a smile, finding it surprising that he didn't recognize her. But the ease with which she floated in the water and the colour of her skin suggested that she wasn't a stranger to Torchline, which made it all the more peculiar that her face was such a mystery to him.
