His gaze lifts to meet the Fae in the air again, a dark brow raised. He doesn’t care anymore what people think he’s doing or what he is doing, and yet something about the tone Alina has does begin to rub him the wrong way. Perhaps they’re in the same situation, begrudgingly needing something from one another, attempting to spit it out through gritted teeth. “Not sure what that has to do with anything, but yeah, the rumor’s true.” He sets one blade down on his leg, keeping his gaze trained on the Fae, equally disinterested but pausing enough as if it say ‘what do you need? why do you care?’
