cover you when the sky comes crashing in
Settled into their tasks, sacks in hand, Aisha and Sunjata found an ample amount of snow moss available, surprisingly, given the amounts they’d already utilized, gathered, and snagged for other LongNight endeavors. Perhaps this patch had tucked itself away, furtive and secretive, duplcitious and devious, but specious no longer in its keep, with predators and attuned individuals seeking the flora out. Aisha found the largest supply, capable of fitting all of them in her sack by the handful, a grand amount to ensure there was a comfortable expanse for the Spark Bird. Sunjata’s claws discovered purchase too, ripping and snagging, somehow handling wings, bag, and plantlife well, despite injuries. They’d be able to hasten back to the others without fault or flaw; a breath of fresh air from earlier mishandling.

Orchestrations by Jigano successfully manifested his contortions of the design, rising, metallic curls and coils, meant to mimic a bird’s nest, exact undulations previously sketched and drawn by Swords and Shields. Deimos, maybe due to his already ample use of enchantments and invocations, could feel a pull, a warning, in the back of his mind, and with it, the sputtering of edges, notches of mistakes and errors.

The General growled inwardly to himself, showing none of his frustration on reserved features, stoically taking it all in again, irritated by the constant defective measures. He quickly fixed, adhered, resonated the heat, the creation, and the earth back into proper formation, and together, by the time the other pair had returned, it was finished.

The beast stood back to glance at their handiwork, eyes roaming to the incoming duo. “Good work,” he motioned towards their bags, clearly filled. Then his gaze swept along the nest, at the iron, at the coppery hues, giving and granting himself a break in the meantime. “You can place them on,” and once the snow moss was stretched out, and the other offering, and decorating parties could go about their duties, it’d be time to settle into the finale.

“Last part,” he hoped, but didn’t announce that little sedition. “We need to lift it, put it along the beams, and then I can weld it there.” Make it stick, make it stay, make sure it would hold. Then Deimos bent down, hands grasping again at a corner, waiting for others to follow suit.

--

Fingers crossed for the last part! Sunjata and Aisha can put their snow moss on the nest, and then they all need to lift the nest together to put it on the main beam! Use those muscles! No post order!
