As soon as Remi felt Seren release his fin, he immediately stopped his downwards descent. Rising upwards and pressing his sleek neck against the lower part of her body, he'd try and lift her well above the surface of the water so that she might breathe. It was easy enough to hold her there, given how little she weighed even sopping wet. Remi worried though that should he shift back into his own body to explain, the dolphin would swim away. He hadn't the ability to hold the creature where it was having lost that particular attuned ability, and so for now he thought it best to let Seren catch her breath and reason things through for herself.

Clicking a few times in a way that he aimed to be reassuring, the dolphin would wait until the girl had caught her breathe, and then try the entire thing again.
