Using my 'receive a random encounter from a god' pass from Remi winning CotS! Bundled up in a coat that Vai had helped him fur-line to defend against the winter, Remi moved slowly towards the outskirts. He'd managed to create for himself a pair of boots, but even 'properly' dressed as he was, Remi found that traversing this new snow-laden landscape was quite difficult. There was nothing quite like this back in Northaven, and though Remi had gained a good deal more muscle mass than he possessed previously, he was still finding it cumbersome to wade his way through the snow. But wade he did. Moving towards the outskirts Remi wanted to see if the arrival of Deepfrost had changed anything with regard to the barrier. Was it weaker? Stronger? Were the effects more obvious now? Would there be a clear demarcation of its effects in the snow? Keen to find out, Remi tucked his sketch book and a few sticks of charcoal into his pockets before setting out. The day was overcast and as he couldn't really see the sun, he had no real sense of what time of day it was. Afternoon sometime. Surely he had plenty of time to do some research before darkness would drive him home; even if the days were getting considerably shorter.
