In the past he may have had reservations about changing his family's home, but Noah was taking more of his own ownership over it. His brother had up and gone without a second thought, and he was left to tend to it. Adding things to it, letting Delphine's touch flare the place up, was not a disrespectful thing to do. It helped him feel better about the home being his, and if it helped her feel more welcome within the walls, then so be it.
