Somehow he had managed to get them both to the lodge, where firelight lit the windows and smells of roasted foods drifted from the kitchen. However, apparently this was an affront to him, unacceptable - Chulane near growled at the boy.
"Get the fuck over yourself. Get inside now." Saying no simply was not an option - Chulane kept his grip tight on the lad's elbow, not caring if he bruised him up - Korbin had done more to him on their last meeting, had he not?
With his spare hand he reached out to open the door, before hollering inside. "I've got him Lenny, we'll need a healer." The lodge itself wasn't too crowded, most residents had gone to bed already, those that remained in the sitting room knew better than to get involved in matters that didn't directly affect them.
The landlord, Lenny, grumbled something about the ridiculousness of the hour as he went past them, off down the street to fetch a healer. "Straight to the washroom with you," Chuy declared as he tried to get them through the doorway and indeed, to the washroom of the lodge, where he would sit Korbin on a chair in there, or the floor if that's where the boy ended up.
From there, he would squat again beside the boy with the first aid kit, and work on gently unwrapping the bloody hand, to clean it and closer inspect it.
