He was almost glad that Korbin was as wasted as he was, for any less then surely he would be able to fight, to resist and cause more harm, rather than just be a wiggling, squirming, disagreeable dickhead about it. Eventually the boy seemed to lose even that fight though, and simply allowed himself to be steered about, to fall unceremoniously to the washroom floor, to have little choice but to put up with the veterinarian's ministrations.
A huff of a laugh passed through his lips at the insult, the first clear one the boy had managed to utter - clearly Korbin thought it the most important message that needed to get across.
"Evidently I'm a meddling bastard who cares." he said simply, his words still clear and strong, though without the usual humour that might have coloured them. If anything, he sounded sad, but determined, resolute on the path he was walking. He kept cleaning the cut, thanking the gods of this world that the snowy expanse of Halo, and the fact that it was an alcohol bottle the cut was made on, meant it was quite clean, both hygienically speaking and physically - the actual shape of the cut was a line in the meat of his thumb. It would heal easily with proper bandaging, or immediately if whichever healer Lenny managed to get was skilled enough to look after it and the rest of Korbin's ailments.

He declared, before he got to work beginning to peel layers of clothing off the boy, helping him only so much as to leave him in his underwear before lifting him to a standing position again if need be, and pushing him towards the shower, cranking the faucet to run as warm as it could.
