Korbin had a lot to say about that, but it all came out a garbled mess, a slurry of indistinct sounds where the tongue mostly got in the way of gnashing teeth. The general message seemed to be about where Chulane could put his care and a sincere hope that he would choke on it. The anatomical plausibility of the procedure was... questionable.
A whole new struggle commenced when he was ordered into the shower. The process of being stripped was more than a little humiliating, and the outcome of the battle was a win for the veterinarian. Shuddering from residual cold and reclined against the wall, Korbin hissed and pawed at his eyes when the water came pouring down over him. It made the cuts on his face sting savagely, and in more than one place along the sides too.
It was a sorry sight. Korbin had always been lean, but days and weeks without proper food had left him thin, almost gaunt. The ribs were showing, spine jutting as he turned his back, and his body was littered with bruises. From fights, from falling, from sleeping... wherever he had been. They painted a picture of self-abuse that needed no knives or glowing embers to leave märks, and the huge, dark raven that spread its inked wings across his back and shoulders seemed to scream the agony that was the source of it all. The one Korbin no longer had the words to express.

"Plan on watchin?" Korbin half growled, as he shot a glare over the shoulder at Chulane.
