When the buzzard appeared her keen blue eyes tracked it close in the cloudy sky, and she picked up her pace at last when it appeared the end was in sight. Falling to a halt upon a slate grey rock jutting out from the ground, Vai drew back her bow and zoned in on the deer. Her eyes narrowed. She let it fly, trusting Dev to finish the job if it didn't kill the creature the first time.
