She adjusted her hold on the books, chewing her lip. And, after a moment, "Why should I be locked up reading?" She furrowed her brows, as if she really, and truly, had no idea what the man was referencing.
"Besides... it's just research. I'm supposed to run the medical station, I guess Loren didn't show."
