Remi Abruzzo
I was just guessing at numbers and figures, pulling your puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress, do not speak as loud as my heart

Remi returned Phoebe's smile warmly as he stepped inside, shooting a smile over his shoulder at Rexanna at the flirtatious ring in the way she said his name. Judging by the fact she still held the parchment and quill he'd given her, it would seem she hadn't managed to satisfy Frey's task yet. Well. Should she and Phoebe find themselves needing a topic of conversation, the alchemist certainly thought he could provide one. If he didn't think it would turn Phoebe the colour of a tomato to hear him say such, he might suggest that the blonde be the third in the three-some Rex seemed to be planning. All of Frey's quests tied up in one perhaps not-so-neat package.

Chuckling he stepped inside to listen to what it was the midwife needed.

Though teas and tonics were certainly more in his wheelhouse, he also thought he could make quick work of the bell system. "I will work on the bell." He said, glancing around at the three woman to see if anyone had any objections to this. If he heard none, he'd pick up the twine and begin to consider the task.

The problem was that the twine needed to remain taut enough that the small movement of the string would ring the bell upstairs, while remaining in one fixed position. Twitching his lips, Remi cupped his palms until a number of small metal nails appeared, though they were bent in a 'u' shape, and were sharp on each side. Creating a hammer as well, the alchemist slowly began to string the twine around the door frame and up the stairs, making sure to create a 'tunnel' with the nails for the twine to go through. That way it wouldn't be disturbed, wouldn't move, and would remain in a fixed and taut position.
