Ain't it warming you, the world goin' up in flames?
Olavi was, for lack of a better word, loitering.
Not that that was hard for him to do: the large, typically glaring shark-tailed man floating just about anywhere could be interpreted as some kind of threat; it was difficult for him to appear non-suspicious. Right now though, he absolutely was being.
With Longnight stretching on into seeming eternity and he and Nerissa's usual business dried up, he was bored enough to be playing with ideas of staging some kind of big takeover of the city. Not anything he was ever actually going to do, but a sort of game he played at sometimes: thinking about how he'd do it, the windows of opportunity and the potential spoils, making the pompous-ass 'royals' swim down in the dirt while he held up his Queen, crown of glittering coral on her head...it was good to have fantasies.
Leaning against a wall by the main hub of the city, he watched people come and go from the leader's home, trying to get a picture of their schedules. If anyone looked in his direction he gave them a grin, though not an innocent one: the sharp teeth and amused glint in his eye made sure of that.
