Oh, so he's met his errant twin. Amalia can feel heat and color rising on her cheeks, her inherent anxiety bubbling easily to the surface now that she need not fear the tide. "I can imagine," the Shield says softly, trying not to stare at him and utterly failing, her dark eyes slipping ever back to his haggard face. "It's... uncanny. Even now."
He's got a charming crooked smile, sweet and boyish (much like Remi, and there's another pang of deja vu). "Amalia," she offers in response, toes curling as the first wave touches them, pulling away the sand from beneath her feet. The gratitude for saving him earns a shy nod and a fleeting smile, an expression which quickly fades as she looks back to the sea.
"I, ah, I knew Remi in the Hollowed Grounds, before he came here. Are you from Torchline? Or...?" He doesn't look like he's from Torchline, but then, what does she know?
