There’s a variety of reasons why Mabel likely expected some condemnation from him – but he has none. Still, curiosity gets the best of him, because Nate wasn’t a fan, didn’t care for being Ascended after changing. And it wasn’t like he’d arrived Ascended – no, as far as Sunjata was concerned, Nate had been led on by Sam who had a patch that made him almost normal.
