Deimos is...a naive player in all of this, Remi thinks. If only to save himself Amalia's scorn, he can't believe that the General would do something like this on purpose. But whether or not that makes him blameless is another matter entirely. Luckily, it is one the Alchemist doesn't have to pass judgement on.

"...is there anything more I should know, about relations between the ascended and the fae?" The Alchemist well knew he was only in position to ask for what Wessex would give, but at this point, he was probably one of the most stable allies she had.
