While the crew go about their desperate preparations, Jack does something rarely seen in the captain, given his role - he takes the helm, knuckles white around the ship’s wheel. Melita proves the most successful, tethering down supplies and barrels and anything else left on deck. Saiden and Eloise however, have mixed results.
It can’t be helped in the current situation - before the sails can drop properly, a gust of wind and a churn of the waves snatches one of them and yanks the Ark sharply around, jarring Jack’s arm in the process. Something flies open and tools go scattering, running the risk of hitting those on deck. And up ahead, a swell rises.
