She could hear a multitude of things careening along the deck, and grimaced – reaching for Fangorn to tuck him underneath her arm, and find themselves a safe spot to snag. The gourd grumbled and growled, and she couldn’t help it, attempting to keep her companion secure.
Eventually, she found some rope to cling around on one of the masts, Fangorn hidden and gathered beneath her arm, his vines wrapping along anything he could snag. Her head bowed, bracing for something, anything.
