But as Frey continued, describing their city, her eyes widened in...shock? Horror? "If they have that kind of power, then what on earth do they want from me?" she blurted out. If they could just snap their fingers and kill Ascended then why were they going through all this trouble? But the list of those who could enter their city caught her attention too. Like Ronin and Remi." she said softly, looking back up at Frey.
She loved Frey dearly - unconditionally even. That they might think enough of her to bestow her with such a gift was incomprehensible. She was but a mere human, a speck in time for Frey. She knew they were fond of her, but she had never expected them to appreciate her more than any other devotee. That they were as fond of her as they were had always been a blessing in her mind.
