While he waited, there was no presiding in a dark corner. Instead, he used the spare moments to navigate along the set-up, ensuring tables and chairs were adequately spaced out and furnished with materials anyone might need: the various sprigs and reeds for flower crowns, candles already molded for the wheel of flames (merely requiring décor and adornments, and then some wreaths for further representation.
Moving and maneuvering along the threshold, eventually some arrived –Chulane received a nod and some form of a smile. “Just wait,” as some semblance of an amused warning. The Sword didn’t quite know who Arialla was, but her apparent knowledge of plaiting the florets together was a welcome relief. “Making flower crowns, and you are welcome to help.” The third was the most unexpected, given antics over LongNight, but Deimos had already taken the blame for the deaths – striving to move onward (and into other machinations churning in redemption) without sinking and falling straight back into the mire. He gave Wessex a nod, before striding and standing amongst them, beginning explanations.
“Thank you for coming. I thought we could do our Fiat Lux preparation in stations. We have flower crowns,” and here he pointed towards the table adorned with the petals, grass, reeds, and blossoms, varieties of hues and colors for whichever they chose. “Decorating candles,” and the waxen molds, all coated in ivory, were ready for paint, ribbons, or a combination thereof. “And I was hoping to make wreaths that might represent your homeland.” Torchline and its sun, ocean, beaches, and waves, Hollowed Grounds with its ruins, but pieces of rising hope and perseverance, Halo with its mountains, and whatever else they craved to embellish. “Choose one and then we can switch off. If you need any supplies, let me know.”
