"You'll get better if you keep practicing," Arialla told Deimos, a little teasingly: he didn't necessarily strike her as the type to sit around braiding flowers. But if he did want to put in the time to learn, good for him.
Turning to Chulane, Arialla grabbed some flowers with long, flexible stems, the ones she knew would be easy for a beginner to work with, and handed to the man. "Great, here's how to get started ... My name's Arialla, by the way."
She already knew Wessex, from their time training together, but the two men were still strangers to her.
Once she got Chulane going on flower crowns, she decided to give wreaths a try. It couldn't be that different, after all -- just a larger scale, she figured. Though how to represent her homeland ... Seashells, to start, she thought -- she was a bit surprised to find some present; they must have been meant for Torchers, which Arialla almost was at this point. She'd never really come back to the Hollowed Grounds after LongNight. And maybe olive branches ... Certainly some flowers ...
