Here.” Taking the glasses from his nose, Finn folds them and puts them away, revealing the already prominent shadows beneath his eyes. In their place, he draws out something small and shiny, almost like a coin but not.
He walks it across his knuckles before offering it out to the cat, raising his eyebrows as if to ask if this is a fair trade. ”Your form does not cause me discomfort.” He speaks quietly now, to Delphia. ”It sounds ridiculous, but believe me when I say it is not you, it’s me.”
