“Yeah.” Milo says, leaning forward a bit to accept the handshake with a firm enough one of his own – both of them sporting much of the same callouses, much of the same wear, though Milo’s young in comparison. He thinks he’s at least pulled his weight. And much like the boy that he is, he focuses intensely on Zephyr as he explains that there’s not a lot going on until the season changes. He grabs the flask and takes another swig from it, an easy grin on his face as he bobs his head.
“’Void the ‘Biter. Got it.” He chimes with all the confidence in the world and hands the flask back. “Y’good if I stay here for a bit?” It’s a bit softer of a question, and deep within him, he knows that Zeph won’t mind, but it’s a nice thing to ask regardless. And he sits back in the chair, props his legs up again and leans back – letting the panging of the rain accompany the easy conversation between them.
