It doesn't always feel merciful, not when he thinks there are things he could do to save the lives he takes. Would they die another way? Sure, perhaps. But it seemed to him akin to refusing medical aid, just because we all die one day.
"I...didn't know you'd ever met Ludo." Raising his stormy-green gaze, he frowns softly at Phoebe.
