The bard was humming softly to himself as he made his way through the temple and down the stairs, pack of tricks (and most of his worldly belongings) slung over his back. He was early tonight, but his research at the Atheneum into Long Night traditions had gone well as he'd found a few books the pup had missed and finally been able to absorb them in blessed peace. Now it was time to earn his keep at the Rathskeller, and in his mind he was working on composing a song for the luxere, one he hoped the locals would enjoy and the outlanders might learn something from, if they'd somehow missed the notice board.
Distracted by his thoughts, the white-haired man missed the disappearance of a familiar black-haired head beneath the bar. Instead he saw only Bastien, a stranger, standing there apparently idle. The place was largely empty, aside from the usual afternoon regulars, but a couple of them brushed by the bard on their way out in a hurry, adjusting their trousers and mumbling some incoherent excuse about needing some cold air. The rest were either semi-conscious over their mugs, or else watching the shirtless - why was he shirtless? - bartender with either disbelief or lascivious grins.
Well that was... awkward.
Jigano slowly picked his way across the room to take a seat at the bar, nodding cautiously at the half-clad man and noting - not without a little discomfort - how perky his nipples were. The fireplace kept the Tavern warm, but in Deepfrost it was still a bit chilly. "I'm not normally the kind of man to give a stranger the shirt off my back," he said conversationally, keeping his eyes determinedly on Bastien's face. "But for you, friend, I'd make an exception, if only to keep you from putting someone's eye out with those things."
