Cian receives very different reports from the members at his disposal. Dorian, with a lifetime of shared experience between them, often treats his duties as personal favours to the Eye, rather than that which he has been groomed to do. But it's for precisely those reasons that Cian lets his boyhood friend go unchastised. Finn's account is clinical and sterile in its accuracy, granting him a nod of approval.
