Cian removes one of his hands and it feels like the world starts spinning, though he manages to cling to balance, barely. The breath he takes is a shaky one, his gaze begging to glance back across to where the Longheat God was rescued, but he lets Cian do that. If Finn looks again, with or without his glasses, he might not ever make it back. He’s already almost stepping away to take himself away to Stormbreak when the Eye speaks again.
Finn listens intently, his gaze locked on the other man’s, and he nods his fervent understanding. ”I will,” he says to the checkup, to keeping himself away, to it all. ”I’ll report all that I see. From a distance.” That sounds like a promise, one that he doesn’t intend to break. Finally breaking contact with Cian so he doesn’t inadvertently take the other man with him, the Spyglass is gone only a moment later.
Part of himself is still here in the Climb, though. Part of him always will be.
