The sand storm was fierce, whipping against them, stripping their flesh, striking her wings, and stealing her senses. She narrowed her eyes against the onslaught, but that didn't help. As Ianto spoke into her mind, she pressed her lips together.
Fighting her instinct to flee blindly, she hesitated for the briefest of moments, she nodded. Having no other way to communicate, she simply tried to descend as best she could through the buffeting winds and stinging sand. At least she was pretty sure which direction was down. If she could, she'd land as softly as possible so as to prevent the landshark from detecting them.
