He’d gone home, just to grab a few things he wanted and/or needed. It was also a nice refresher of how much greenery was within the Greatwood, within where he’d been born and raised. Perhaps being around so many people in such a busy home seemed to make for the quiet need of getaways and a bit of separation from society for a bit. Perhaps he was simply just as wild as his father, needing and craving the solitude of the forest.
That and the last time he’d been out adventuring in Torchline, that wicked mermaid almost made him drown.
So he’s fishing in the Stonesong, in his bear shift, capturing a salmon before a unique form catches his eye. He continues to fish a bit more, waiting to see if the creature comes closer, and when it doesn’t and appears to take a nap, that’s when Felix grows far too interested. One would think he’d learned from his prior experience with the mermaid, but he hasn’t. No, instead, Felix drifts closer to the lion-like beast, dripping with water, a salmon between his teeth – lowering his head to sniff at the lion with a bit of wariness glimmering in his dual-toned gaze.
