Neron
Off he floats, the prince on the ice, and he turns away from his former companions as if this has been his plan all along. Adrift and unfeeling of the cold, Neron feels very much like everything is going to plan. Not that he has a plan - not even in the slightest. Then there’s a choice to be made: stay or go, jump or linger, adventure or safety.
And there’s not really much more choice, for Neron - he’s already stepping from the (sort of?) safety of the shard of the Glass Sea that he floats upon, taking the plunge into the unknown. He doesn’t need to breathe so he cannot drown; he cannot feel the cold so he does not care about it as much as others might. And he’s also (currently) totally out of his mind. So be it.
