One thing Sunjata realizes quickly is that the banshee moves fast. She’s still one moment, the next she’s speeding along the field, almost as if she’s taking account of everyone that’s arrived before picking something in the trees. Sunjata doesn’t know whether it’s a person or not, but he does catch a glimpse of the leopard briefly as he follows the path the banshee takes.
“Stay here.” He hums to Nate, moving his attention to the predator within him, hoping that it’s something useful, even if it was the first time that he shifts fully into it. So he steps away from his husband, letting it overtake him as he hears Amun’s voice ring out, a quick glance is given toward the other Ascended.
But then he’s shifting, large leathery wings unfurling, man becoming a large dragon with black plates, large spikes trailing down his spine, a big heavy head full of sharp teeth snap toward the banshee, a blue glow erupting in his throat. The dragon snarls toward the banshee, wings flaring and lightning crackling in the back of his throat as he rises himself a bit higher to try and be eye level with the banshee – hoping to intimidate it rather than blast at it as Amun had.
Sunjata shifts to his dragon shift and tries to intimidate the banshee into leaving Chulane alone!
