It moves so fast, too fast. Even with leopard senses tracking it, the Chief is hard-pressed to get moving, to react and try to flee. Muscles tense and the leopard hisses and spits, reaching out to swipe violently with sharp paws, yowling all the while.
'Help!' It wasn't so much the actual word that he beamed out, but the sensation, the panic and urgency leaving him in great rushed pulses. Fuck fuck fuck his actual thoughts were muttering, as he leapt from the branch, and shifted into feathers and talons, taking flight.
Around him, the world seemed to explode. And something far more bigger and dangerous than him rose up from below. The world was a blur of bright colours and startling growls, and all he could do was try to navigate away from the danger that seemed to be coming from all angles around him.
