Whether or not this was a good idea was the farther thing from Remi's mind. It was an idea, and once the alchemist's mind had latched onto it, there was simply no letting go. Besides, the last trek into the jungle had been ended far too quickly and for no good reasons (in Remi's humble opinion). So it was that this time he was fairly sure, madness or no, that neither he, Ronin, nor Amalia would call an unnecessary halt.

Dressed more or less appropriately (probably closer to 'less', but he hadn't remained in a body that needed clothes for very long last time), the only real supplies the alchemist had thought to bring was water from Frey's Breath and a goodish amount of rope.

Taking a deep breath of air thick with rich jungle-scents and potential, Remi slides a hand around his husband's waist, pressing his nose against the skin just below the huntsman's ear. "I need this." He whispers softly before pressing his lips against the stark curve of his husband's jaw. This was of course his way both of saying I need you as much as it was a thank you for humouring me.
