Finn, ever the home bird, finds little reason to be out and about and away from the Tower. The Plaza, too, is too close to the Silk Houses for comfort. Alas, he also needs to ensure that his cupboards are stocked and that he stretches his legs, especially since the fortuitous return of his senses with the water from Frey’s Breath. For once the Spyglass is even dressed for LongHeat; though his pants are still neatly pressed and his shirt buttoned, they are of a much lighter and forgiving material than when he’d walked through the Celestine with Tobi.
The gardens are another reason why he’s here, too. In his hand he carries a paper bag filled with apples, and he hopes to pay another visit to the creature that healed his broken hand with them as a gift. He is almost ready to leave, in fact, when Artemide - the barn owl given to his care by a goddess (and that still baffles him, honestly) swoops down from her position scouting overhead to perch on the back of a bench by a young woman.
Letting out a soft hoot, the owl hops closer to Seren. Finn, thoroughly embarrassed and offering an awkward smile to the girl, calls to Artemide. ”Come, now. It is rude to bother strangers.”
