FINN
the spyglass
Finn follows at her heels, as he's done since the start of this venture. Adjusting his pace to match Lena's, the stars that stretch overhead are no less vibrant and beautiful at a brisk walk than they were at a stroll, and soon enough they come upon a familiar enclosure. The Spyglass's fingers flex instinctively, remembering the broken bones in his hand that the unicorn healed away. Before he can turn to speak to the woman beside him, however, she's handing him treats and leaving him to it.
"Oh," he says, with a polite and typically awkward smile, accepting the handful of snacks for the unicorn and nodding as she backs away. "Thank you for showing me the dragons, and the cloud wyrms. I'll make sure to come back soon." And for once he means it, having thoroughly enjoyed the time meandering around the gardens with Lena. With a small wave, he turns back to the unicorn, waiting for it to emerge from the trees and sweet grasses.
