Discovery. That wasn't a word that Anden was used to. So much of his former life was spent on remaining hidden. Acting as the final gate for those who sought refuge. But in Caido discovery was... Everything. It gave life to the world, it was a beacon of hope for Anden. There was so much to discover. Some much more to learn. From the liquid that flowed through his veins, to the where the winds could take him. "You've helped more than I think you know." Anden stood up. Unlike when he walked into the tavern, he seemed renewed. Energy flowed through him. He was ready for Caido now.
Anden gave a soft smile at Bastien. "Sounds peaceful." And it was. Anden didn't need to live a life of seclusion like Bastien. He also didn't need to go on hating what he had become. There was a world of options out there for him. He just had to find them. "I'm sure I'll think of something one day. For now though, I need to get back to the manor before Oliver thinks I died... again." Anden gave a slight chuckle, before he offered Bastien his hand.
