It’s a rare thing for Nate to be the one that backs down and lets Sunjata take over. But gods it’s been so long since he’s even been in this position. For a split second as he sends a small spark to Nate, he has to remember what it’s like — pulling away as his husband’s words filter through the bond before they’re made audible, Sunjata’s gaze scanning over Nate’s face with a smug, rogue smirk.
It almost hurts the attuned with how much he craves of the Ascended. How much he wants this, how much he wants him. The spark is just a nice addition, an ability that Sunjata might be able to give Nate back something for everything the Ascended has opened up for him.

The wings lower their pressure on Nate’s wrists while Sunjata’s hands roam again, shifting down the sides of the Ascended to tug at the shirt — the predatory side of him wanting nothing more than to shred it off, but restraining. I want to light you up. It’s a hoarse, honey soaked purr that lilts his voice. The way you set me on fire. Will you let me? Before Nate can respond, Sunjata’s sending another small spark across the kiss.
