He’s entranced by the springs, a bit less beautiful than the Rainbow Road in terms of color, but far more magical in the way it appears. Varying pools, heat and mist arising from them, sticking his clothes to him, matting his hair down along his face. The sound of the pools bubbling drowns out the approach of another, though, as Milo nears the edge of the springs and peers into one of them, searching the warm pools for anything.
Her voice calls out and his head whips toward it, both in a bit of surprise. “Heard t’was called Frey’s Breath.” He rumbles back toward her, taking in the spear and the wings, the way she seems to float rather than land. She must be one of those Fae he’s heard all about. Of course, he doesn’t say anything to that extent, simply stepping away from the edge of the pool. “S’posed t’ be magical.” Provided the rumors were true, but Milo has nothing to deny the truth of it.
