She's imperfect, but she tries
She is good, but she lies
She is hard on herself
She is broken and won't ask for help

Though she can't imagine the benefit of turning into a tree or stone, Amalia is impressed by the versatility that Neos seems to have possessed. To the once-Attuned changing shape is less about changing and more about being a form one is- but she does not try to explain that now. The man has endured enough culture shock.

"She is not." Anger sparks in her smoky voice at the implication that the Voice has more say over Caido than she does, the Shield naturally defensive of the authority of her gods. "The Voice is only interested in interrupting the natural order of the world, and corrupting it into her image." Clawed fingers ball into fists at her sides, the girl looking away as thorns sprout up in her golden locks.

She's calmed down by the time Gideon finishes his explanation, Neos looking for clarification on the subject of the gods. Softening her stance, the Shield turns back, warmth appearing in her face as fondness slips into her voice. "Frey now appears in two bodies, dependent on the role they are fulfilling," she explains, thinking back to her last encounter with the deity. "The Old Gods are... there was first Caido, the God of All, who created the world and the Three."

Amalia extends her arm to vaguely demonstrate the world, her voice and face becoming animated. "From it rose Rae, god of nature, Mort, god of death, and Vi, god of life." She lingers on the last name, adoration bright in onyx eyes. "The Three are, of course, occupied with maintaining the balance of the world, and so from them came heralds, to manage the affairs of mortals. As Gideon said, there are three: Frey for Rae, Ludo for Mort, and Safrin for Vi. These are the deities who would be most likely to answer your questions, and guide you in this world."

She is messy, but she's kind
She is lonely most of the time
She is all of this mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie
She is gone, but she used to be mine
