It’s a normal Leafchange day, supposedly - except for the fact that Raza is running late for work. “Late.” The boss is never late unless there’s a meeting and when does Raza ever have employee meetings? It’s just her and Mik usually. He’ll gripe ‘n grumble, but he also knows Raza will make it up to him. She always does - some way or another.
Rounding the corner, the tall, lean woman is momentarily distracted by a stray animal fight as it crosses right in front’a her, two cats racin’ through the streats like their tails are on fire. She narrowly avoids them, but then manages to misstep in a murky puddle, the stagnant, film-covered liquid sloshing in between her toes and coverin’ her sandals. Her whole body immediately tenses up, a disgusted expression stamped, into her features as she realizes just where she’s stepped. And then the bar owner pulls her foot out, looks at it, and starts to hunt for something to wash it off - in lieu of cutting it off, that is.
Unfortunately for the Torcher, she needs her foot. She’ll just need to sanitize the shit outta it before she lets it back into her bed at the end of the day.
