A bemused and surprised smile came over Remi's features at the mention that Cirago too was a commoner. He seemed so worldly and exotic in a way that was hard to put into words. Remi couldn't quite tell if this new information made him feel more at ease around Jigano or more unsettled. That perhaps the two shared some common ground was a welcome fact, but if anything it subtly seemed to imply that if Jigano was able to make himself into the man he was now, then Remi had no excuse for what he was surely. As much as he wanted to tell himself that they'd grown up in different circumstances, it seemed Jigano was trying to imply that they didn't. And even if they had, if no such climate existed in Caido...Distracted by Jigano's sudden expressive-departure into something far less jaded and all together more captivating, Remi smiled boyishly. "No person maybe. A few hungry books though?" Trailing off, Remi flashed his counterpart a bright and mischievous smile.

"A personal quest?" The alchemist prompted as they walked. "You do not walk into potentially sentient mazes simply to get fodder for your tales?" He asked with a teasing wink.
